Safety Tips

We vet every member and seat you in public places — but a few habits keep every table safe and easy.

Vetting is the floor, not the ceiling. We review every applicant and host dinners in reputable, public restaurants — and we ask you to look after yourself and each other, too.

01Before the dinner

  • Dinners are always at a vetted, public restaurant — never a private home.
  • Tell someone you trust where you’re going and when to expect you back.
  • Check the confirmation details in your invite, and arrive at the reserved table.

02At the table

  • Share at your own pace — there’s no obligation to disclose anything you’re not ready to.
  • Arrange your own transport to and from the venue.
  • Keep an eye on your drink and your belongings, as you would anywhere.
  • If something feels off, trust your instinct and step away. You never owe anyone an explanation.
Your comfort outranks the conversation. Always.

03Protect your information

Be thoughtful about sensitive business details — cap tables, unannounced raises, confidential metrics. The table is built on discretion, but you control what you share.

04If something goes wrong

If a member makes you uncomfortable or breaks our guidelines, tell us. Reports are confidential and we take them seriously — members who make others unsafe lose their seat. In an emergency, always contact local emergency services first.
